Assalamualaikum (peace be upon you)
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Despite heavy rain and cold weather in the occupied city of Jerusalem, thousands of Palestinian Jerusalemites marched to the Aqsa Mosque in support of their fellow Palestinians in Selwan suburb who are facing the nightmare of being uprooted from their homes.
A couple of days ago, the Israeli occupation authorities handed over demolition notices to 88 Palestinian families residing in Selwan, and urged them to leave their homes immediately to build a public park on the ruins of their homes.
The Israeli step gained the wrath of Palestinians in homeland and in diaspora, who vowed to resist the Israeli move with all available means.
Palestinians less than 45 years old were denied entry to the Aqsa Mosque to perform their Friday prayer there as the Israeli occupation police deployed thousands of its members in and around the old town of occupied Jerusalem.
The Aqsa foundation for endowment and heritage, which called for the rally, urged Arab and Muslim countries to immediately mobilize to protect the Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli schemes to demolish it.
The foundation also stressed that the case of Selwan suburb won’t be isolated as it would be followed by similar moves in the future if the Israeli crime is passed this time.
The IOA offered the affected Palestinian families money to settle the problem and leave their homes peacefully, but the Palestinians refused the offer and vowed to resist the Israeli step to the last breathe.

Never a day passed without Palestine and my dear brothers and sisters there in mind. They are always in the du’aa (supplications) of all Muslims as one of our way to support them. Indeed, the news cut above alone is enough to illustrate how the struggle rages on as we live our daily lives. Their resilience and strong faith to Almighty Allah are the driving forces that push them to the limit many of us can’t even reach. Indeed, it is such a shame to us for not thinking and working to free them from the illegitimate occupation no one ever deserve. Yes, it is peace and harmony that everyone wants, hopes for and always talk about. But only a handful are willing to struggle on alongside them in their own respective way.
People! It is not your money that they ultimately hope for nor your presence there to physically fight with them because they know you cannot withstand what they are going through. But they are hoping for you to work and establish peace to the world since it is the current system that let injustice we see now to happen.
It is time now for us to make a change for a better future which will free not only the Palestinians but ultimately bringing all mankind to achieve the real peace and justice we all longing for. The change we need is a system that will let us implementing the ultimate justice and establishes the terminal peace we all need. A system that is free from conspiracies, manipulations and fraudulent acts. History has prove to us that all man made systems known to us, none is capable of establishing the true peace and harmony we longed for. The system we need is has to originated from the ultimate peacemaker and the one who establish harmony among us, indeed it must be from the one who Created us..Allah the Almighty, The Bestower of Peace (As Salam), The Loving One who creates love within us (Al Waduud). We might wonder what it is? It is Islam, the Way of Life. The change we need is the change to Islam. Indeed, the change is big, but it starts from ourselves. Believe me, “when Islam stands in you, you will see Islam stands around you“. Starts changing now because that is the change all mankind needs. Start small by asking yourself whether do you understand your Deen (Islam) the way it should be?
“Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.”
(Quran (Surah Al An’am) Chapter 6 Verse 125)
Until next time,
